No more PageRank updates! What’s Next Ranking Factor?

Google’s PageRank updates, is very much essential to measure the Quality of any Website. For Bloggers! they can monetize their Blog based on their PageRank and Alexa  Rank Traffic only. PageRank will be updated for every 3 months, but for the past one year there was no Page Rank updates, and it won’t be happened for this year. In this Meanwhile, Google released its new Algorithm – Hummingbird Algorithm. Its a complete new SEO Algorithm which won’t care much about Meta Data and Keywords.

Video of Matt Cutts speech on “Why don’t you turn off the PageRank feature in Google Toolbar

The head of Google’s Web Spam team, Matt Cutts, stated that…

Pipeline to send PageRank updates to the toolbar is broken. Google, feeling that too many people obsess over PageRank, doesn’t see it as important to fix that.

Which means, the Google’s ability to update the PageRank toolbar has been broken. And they are not going to fix it. From this statement and an unusual delay in updating the PageRank toolbar, concluded that hereafter no more PageRank updates! End of an ERA!

End of PageRank Updates!

Google PageRank updates is gonna die
Google’s PageRank updates gonna die

Whatever the PageRank your Website have, this would be the last PageRank also. Hereafter, no more PageRank updates, PageRank is built by Google to understand the outsiders about the Quality and Worth of any website. And now, the reason for PageRank have been slowly changed. Nowadays, there are no loyal Bloggers who blogs only for the welfare of their Readers, including myself (sometimes 😛 ). Here, PageRank is used as a tool to make money and making Paid Reviews. The Webmaster’s with the help of Keyword Research, make even crap rank higher in Google’s SERP. Matt Cutts must played clever, this action of dropping PR Updates will put an end to this crap happening.

Ofcourse! its not gonna be a big surprise if Google end up PageRank. Just thinking of logically, PageRank is just a measurement tool and the algorithm is now replaced with new Hummingbird Algorithm.

If PageRank gonna die, What’s Next?

The Answer is still unknown. But, there is a change in Google search results after Google’s Hummingbird Algorithm update. It shifts the entire search results system. After the update even the low PR blogs and Sub-domain blogs can be seen in keyword search queries. It completely eradicates the impact of Meta Description and Keywords in Google Search and tries to implement the Semantic Search. As a result of this, you can see Google Images, it is now with categorized search.

apache is resulted in various categories by Google images regardless of metadata

Also, more updates in entity based search. Just Google your favorite Justin Bieber or Rihanna. You can collect all the info even their latest pop albums in Google.

Stop doing Keyword Research, Think for new Topics

[toggle]PS: Stop doing Keyword Research and try to answer the user queries. You will get a good Organic Search Traffic.[/toggle]

From now on, I am not gonna do any more keyword research for my articles. Google is now breaking the Keyword Slavery with its Semantic Search algorithm. But, I am not sure about extinction of Keywords, always machines can’t be super thinker than Human. Still the developments are going on, to make Google bots do a meaningful search. There arises many Algorithms say., Semantic Algorithm, Syntactic Algorithm, Entity Based Search Model, Implicit Explicit Query Model and many more to find a better way. So, still thinking of Keyword is really a bad idea. Need to think more on Queries and try to answering them.

Do you know Quora! Its the better medium for asking Questions and Answering. The Secret behind the success of Quora will be of allowing their website to get crawled by Search Engine bots and get indexed in SERPs. Whenever, I search something new topics I get Quora there. As because the users, unknowingly or unknowingly post Good Questions, that arises in their mind and wait for Answers. This made Google, love Quora in order to have a semantic data from it. So, make your Topics and frame Titles just like Quora users do. You will get, good organic search results. Anyhow, Some controversies are going on that, PageRank updates will happen this February. Let’s wait and see… 😀
